MHWC 2023 – Handball veterans from 4 continents

    The most prestigious tournament in handball world of veterans, Masters Handball World Cup will start on May 18 in Omis and Makarska. This will be the 6th gathering of the best teams in the competition of „ex active handball players“ from all around the world on beautiful Adriatic coast in Croatia since 2017, where project was established.

    In total, 63 teams from 16 countries in seven age categories will compete for the trophies. Event in Omis and from this year city of Makarska, is unique for various countries and handball schools which taking a part. On this tournament, teams from countries like India, Chile, Honduras and Egypt will get more international experience in competing with their European rivals from Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, SLovakia, Lithuania, Germany, Norway, Romania, Greece, Italy, Portugal, Ukraine, etc.

    Tournament will be open on Thursday with spectacular opening ceremony supported by major of Omis and some handball legends with firework and lights which will turn sports center „Ribnjak“ in unique place to be.

    Trophies for the champions and medal winners are handmade.
